The Michigan President's Meeting was held on Friday, June 1 in Westland Michigan. Leagues from around the Michigan Region 1 area were treated to a Chicken Dinner and later received the latest Pony Baseball and Softball News from Michigan Region Director Ritchie Clayton.
Also in attendance was East Division Director Gary Stefaniak who discussed among other items the new Bat Rule for the 2012 season. There was discussion on the upcoming Tournament Season as Leagues gave their general opinions on both League and Tournament play. Another huge discussion was on Electronic Scoring Applications such as "Game Changer" and "iScore" and the impact they have on the game. The meeting group also discussed the 2013 meeting site and plans are underway to hold the meeting earlier in the year.
