2011 Japanese Friendship Series Games At Consol Energy Park

Consol Energy Park in Washington PA hosted the 2011 Japanese Friendship Series games tonite.  Tonights games feature a Japanese team that has traveled to the United States to participate in play against American teams in the name of establishing global relations via baseball.

Playing against the Japanese Friendship Team is the 2010 Washington All Star team that participated in the 2010 PONY League World Series.

The event was attended by PONY Headquarters and Museum staff, PONY Field Directors, the general public, and 2 local high school cheerleading squads to cheer on the teams.
